The UCNCP Universal Closures product
family is designed to protect splices and to store excess
buffer lengths in butt configurations on fiber optic cables.
They are applicable for:
• Direct buried
• Ducts or manholes
• Aerial networks
Two versions of the UCNCP Universal Closure
are available:
1. With mechanical cable sealing:
• Two cable
entries in the intersection to be used also for uncut cable
• Glands for
branching cables
• Quick re-entry
without special tools
2. With heat shrink cable sealing:
• With oval
port for uncut cables
• Sealing with
heat shrink tube and branching clip
• Branching
ports for different cable diameters
• Up to
24-fiber splice capacity per tray
• Minimum fiber bend controls
• Individual tray access
• Multiple tray mounting access
