This Optical Distribution Frame (ODF)
utilises a Hinging Tray design, with optional Patchcord Mandrels
fitted to the right of the trays, providing additional patchcord
support and management. This design is ideally suited for
racks that have rear fitted mounts, in this case 19"
(and note that CTEC also design and supply ETSI, TEP1E and
MEP versions too).
• High density
termination system, for example 144 fibres in a 19" 6U space
at 24 terminations per tray based on SC or E2000, or 96 fibres
based on FC/PC or ST.
• Other connector types can be
catered for using an interchangeable bulkheads.
• Modular hinge tray system,
designed to ensure R30 bend radius is not
compromised on and off the tray.
• Trays accommodate 12 fibre
capacity multi-function cassettes (up to 3 cassettes)
with built in hinge mechanism and self-closing latch system.
The cassette provides a number of fibre management and retention mechanisms for
ease of installation.
• Cassette made using UL94-V0
rated CYCOLAC VW300.
• Cable breakout and tube routing
is via rear a Cable Breakout Units (CBU)
of various tube capacities (not part of build, see other items), routed to the cassettes
using Ø10mm conduit tubing, each CBU is provided with
CTM anchorage.
• Exiting patchcords are routed
directly over vertically mounted storage mandrels
for full bend radius control.
• A variety of backplane heights
are available, with bespoke requirements
catered for.
• The tray assemblies can also
be installed into ETSI, TEP1E & MEP racks
with suitable backplanes supplied by request.
